Siddharthnagar district in Uttar Pradesh has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the bronze award at the prestigious National One District One Product (ODOP) 2024 Awards. The ODOP initiative has transformed the agricultural landscape of Siddharthnagar. When the program began, Kalanamak rice cultivation was limited to just 2,000 hectares. Through sustained efforts, technical support, and farmer awareness programs, the cultivation area has witnessed an impressive tenfold expansion, now covering nearly 20,000 hectares across the district.
