The modern research facility will be spread across a sprawling 13.5-acre campus in the Agra division, bringing advanced traditional healthcare education and treatment closer to the people.
This development is part of Uttar Pradesh's ambitious expansion of its medical education network, which includes five new Integrated AYUSH Colleges and Hospitals across the state. These institutions will combine traditional Indian systems of medicine—Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy—with modern research facilities, creating centers of excellence for holistic healthcare.
The state's commitment to accessible healthcare is already evident through the distribution of over 5.64 crore Ayushman cards to residents, providing a strong financial safety net for medical treatment. The addition of AYUSH colleges represents a complementary approach, strengthening both preventive and curative healthcare options.
